Erin was an absolute pleasure to work with during the whole wedding planning process. We loved the at home cupcake tasting kit (my fiance could not sit still in his seat he was so excited about the cupcakes)! The meeting to discuss cake design and cupcake set up was great, Erin has such a great vision for her creations! The end product was perfection! Everyone was (and still is) raving about how delicious the cupcakes were. We will definitely be using Wild Orchid Baking Company for future events!

All I can say is WOW. The wedding cake was rediculously amazing. I mean seriously GOOD. We chose the pumpkin cake with a cinnamon frosting to make it a pumpkin spice. (fall wedding) Erin had us over her shop for a cake tasting and made us tea and all sorts of goodies. Erin is a fantastic person and did a wonderful job with decorating the cake and like I said - IT WAS AWESOME! Thanks SOOOOO much Erin! Jessica and Michael Gagne

The cupcake tower and cake at our wedding were very yummy and guests enjoyed them. We had a lot of fun at our tasting with Erin and loved her ideas and the flavors. The color of the cake details wasn't exactly what we imagined but it's frosting and probably wouldn't ever be exactly what we imagined :) The only other change I would make if I could do it again, would be to get our own cupcake stand--we opted to rent the basic white stand from Wild Orchid to save time, but I wish we could have found something with more personality.

Wild Orchid Baking Co. did an awesome job creating our wedding cake. We actually planned everything out of state so it was hard to arrange a time to meet and discuss the plans. However, the staff at Wild Orchid allowed and created a sample box for my mother-in-law to try since she lives up north. I thought that was very kind of them to do that and so we got feedback from her on which was the best selection. They were very nice to work with and did a great job creating what I was looking for in a wedding cake. I thought the cake was very well decorated and tasted excellent. Erin makes absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes. She is creative and offers a great service. I had interviewed and tasted quite a few cakes from different bakeries and instantly knew she was the one to make our cake. We had 3 different flavors for our cake and each one tasted amazing. We did have one communication issue with our cake but Erin quickly resolved the problem and offered us a credit. Even with this issue I would highly highly recommend Wild Orchid Baking to anyone looking for a cake vendor.

The cake wasn't exactly how we pictured it was smaller than what we wanted and the color wasn't what we asked for. Other than the appearance, the cake itself was so YUMMY!!!!!

Erin and her staff at Wild Orchid Baking Company are great. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it also tasted fantastic! Another plus is that the cake was very reasonably priced compared to other area bakeries...trust me, I did my research! I am not a big fan of dessert, and our cake was fresh, moist and not too sweet...absolutely perfect! I was one of the brides that kept changing my mind about the cake design...and Erin was fabulous! She always responded thoroughly to my e-mails and not only handled my changes but also offered fabulous suggestions. On the wedding day, the cake was on time, in perfect shape and even better than we ever could have imagined. My only complaint is that there weren't any leftovers because our guests asked for seconds! They offer a free 6 inch cake on your anniversary which is great...we can't wait to enjoy that! We highly recommend Wild Orchid Baking Company to any brides and grooms out there...they were absolutely perfect!

We chose wild orchid for Erin's ability and willingness to make vegan cake. As an added bonus, her vegan cake is also gluten-free. I was also impressed with her cake design, so my fiance (now husband!) and I went for a tasting. Erin has a great shop/bakery in North Hampton, NH. It was cute, clean and smelled delicious (we had done another tasting for a popular vegan cake baker in her partially finished basement, and the upstairs of the house was SO DIRTY). Erin herself was very accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. We got to try five different cake flavors with five different frostings (you could mix and match the cakes and frostings to see which ones tasted best together). As the wedding approached, Erin actually contacted me to finalize details rather than the other way around. She was happy to use real ribbon that I picked out and provided around the base of each layer (I thought it looked nicer than fondant ribbon), and she coordinated with the florist to make sure she'd have the flowers she needed to decorate with. I was so happy to see the final result at the wedding, and it tasted amazing, too! I can't wait to get our anniversary cake next summer!

I ordered my husband's grooms cake from Wild Orchid, which I gave him at the rehearsal dinner. I asked for a Husky dog (the mascot of his college) and was SO impressed with what I got. The dog was huge, looked perfect, and was the star of our rehearsal dinner. The cake tasted great and was such a hit. The price was very reasonable and I enjoyed speaking with the woman I worked with there. I highly recommend Wild Orchid for any type of fun, inventive cake! I ahve seen thier wedding cakes as well, which also look beautiful!

Erin makes a delicious cake that looks too good to eat. She is magical.

Erin did an amazing job on our cake. It was absolutely gorgeous and she gave us exactly the design we asked for and worked really well with what the florist gave her for a perfect natural flowers design! That is just half of it- the cake was delicious. Thinking about it is making my mouth water. I had at least 4 peices. I also love that we have a whole new fresh cake (smaller of course) to look forward to on our anniversary!

Our cake was great. We ended up getting two flavors for the two tiers. I ended up liking the blueberry cake and lemon frosting better...so if that's where your tastes lean, I highly recommend that combo. The cake was moist and delicious. Our little sugar flowers were beautiful. She also gave us the good advice to go with fondant - we got married in late August so I was hoping we would have a mild night - well it was hot, and thank goodness we got the fondant otherwise we would have not had any frosting on the cake when we cut it! And the fondant was not bad (it's like concentrated frosting, but not hard or chewy or anything like the bad fondant I have had in the past). Free delivery for us (we were in her delivery area). I am hoping to go to her new bakery in Portsmouth. We did get a small cake (to feed 20, we had individual home made cakes on all the other tables) so I can't speak to the quality of a huge cake, but ours was great!

Erin designed a cake for us that was better than what I had been hoping for during our phone conversation about our wedding theme, budget and colors. I fell in love with the design when she described it, loved the sketch she sent to make it feel real, and it brought tears to both my husband and I's eyes when we finally saw it for the first time after we walked into our receptionn. Besides how it looked, it was delicious. Our guests commented all weekend about how good it was, and some even said that it was great and they don't normally like wedding cake! Erin is extremely talented. I would highly recommend her to any bride and groom looking for a great cake that will reflect their style, personality and wedding. I planned from many states away and that was never a problem for Erin.

She made us an eggless top tiered cake since my husband is allergic. She also made us a three tiered cupcake tower. It was beautiful and delicious. Price was very competitive for the area.

You must consider working with Erin. My wedding was one week ago, on August 16, 2008 and I wanted to recommend her as soon as I could. I learned about Wild Orchid through one of my coworkers- her wedding cake was beautiful and delicious and I thought an excellent value for the service, size and decoration. When I contacted Erin, I really didn't have one set idea for what I wanted our cake to look like. She came up with several ideas and we ended up going with a navy blue cake with silver accents. She provided us with a sketch of her vision for the cake, which was great. Although the design changed a couple times as the date got closer, Erin was exceptionally open to new ideas and very easy to get a hold of. She provided us with a sample cake top which was very helpful and completely delicious. We could have chosen nearly any flavor and ended up going with a chocolate chip cake with almond icing after talking through the possibilities with Erin. On our wedding day, the cake was even more beautiful than I thought it would be and we received many compliments, even coming from some of my more conservative "white cake favoring" family members. The flower details and silver accents were exceptional. (I will try to attach a photo.) We received the best compliments after the fact, however, with my mother-in-law (among others) telling me it was the best wedding cake she had ever had, and with my mother asking for a second slice. I truly enjoyed it as well. I recommend Wild Orchid with enthusiasm and without reservation. Hire Erin if you can! Erin was fantastic to work with! I have recommended her to everyone I come across that is getting hitched. She has an amazing artistic talent, and a real focus on quality ingredients. The end result is a beautiful cake that tastes delicious! She was very accommodating with us - we requested that she mirror the flavors of a blueberry-peach struesel bar that I grew up on, and she did a fantastic job. Two months later, we are still getting compliments on the cake. If you are looking for a beautiful, great tasting cake, and a reliable, organized vendor, I highly recommend Wild Orchid Baking Company!

Wonderful to work with, timely and very promt. Great pricing and willing to travel a little ways. Cake was very moist and yummy. Guests loved it. I really liked that she provided a topper sample to see the colors and taste test. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good cake!
