Shoes To Dye For

I was amazed how hard it was to find bridal shoes since I did not want to order them online without trying on first. Shoes to Dye For was exactly what I needed. They have an excellent selection and I was able to find something pretty and comfortable that suits my tastes and was not very expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful with ideas for making the shoes more comfortable and adding a bit more sparkle to them.

The service and quality I got from Shoes to Dye For was great. I took away a half star for responsiveness because I went there on a busy Saturday and it took quite some time before anyone offered to help me. However, once I had their attention, they found me two extremely comfortable pairs of shoes and the perfect sparkly headband! They were very friendly and helpful and got my shoes dyed quickly. The dye job is beautiful. Three of my bridesmaids also went there to pick out shoes and have them dyed and they all had equally wonderful experiences. Thanks!

I bought shoes her for my wedding and had them dyed. I didn't think the dye job was very good. There were runs onto the bottom of the shoe and onto the inside. It was very sloppy. I normally wouldn't care about this but I was planning to have my photographer take pictures of the shoes and because of the poor job, I couldn't do that. One of the men who works there did try to get the stains off the shoes but couldn't. (as a side note, I think he may have been the owner and I saw him on 3 separate occasions walking around without any shoes on which I found to be pretty gross). I know there aren't many other options for show dying in the area but I would be cautious if you plan to take pictures of the shoes before you wear them.

I had a July 2011 wedding, and my bridal party was wearing a bright fuschia dress. The fuschia color was very hard to find anywhere else! I wanted to be different and get fuschia shoes for myself (instead of boring old white) to match the girls and Shoes to Dye For matched the color exactly! I walked into their store, and wasn't quite sure what kind of shoe I wanted or it's height(because I'm already 5'10), but the man who walked over to me was extremely helpful. Since my husband to be was with me, he showed me exactly which shoes/shoe height I should wear so I would not be taller then him. He had me try on multiple shoes until I found just the right one. He saw the shoe that I was interested in had a heel strap that was a bit slippery, and found the perfect fix (Footpetals Strappy Strips... which I highly recommend for anyone who ever wears heels). My shoes were dyed in two days and ready for pick-up. I was very happy with my product. :)

My shoes were great, so comfortable and a VERY reasonable price. I also bought my jewelry there and was very happy with it. It also gave my girls a good alternative to buying shoes at David's Bridal, since they could get the same color dyed there. Loved the selection and service, would definitely go there again.

Definitly the biggest selection of bridal shoes around. Had a hard time deciding!

Great place to buy shoes. I looked alll over nh, ma, ri, and online for the perfect shoes and this is where I found them. They looked like they were designed for my dress. I ordered them months before wedding so I got standard shipping but much to my delight, they arrived the next day. I was thrilled with my purchase. My bridesmaids also ordered their shoes from there and had great experience as well (they had them dyed to match their dresses, it was done to perfection). Def recommend this store

They were so helpful while I was trying to choose comfortable shoes for my wedding day!! I didn't want the regular wedding shoe. I wanted my shoes to match my bridesmaid's dresses. Not only were the shoes SO comfortable, the color came out perfect.

I bought my wedding shoes here and then had them dyed. The service in selecting the shoes was fantastic - the man who helped me looked at the way the first two pairs I tried fit on my foot and suggested a pair I hadn't yet looked at, which turned out to fit perfectly. That is someone who knows his shoes. The dyeing service was done very well, and the shoes looked great, but I wasn't completely happy with the color. This is I think my fault for not communicating my expectations well and asking more questions, and I wouldn't say not to use them because of it, I only mention it as advice. I brought in a fabric sample that was several shades darker than my dress (intentionally, I didn't want an exact match) and yet the shoes came out exactly the same shade as my dress. The test swatch they used to do the matching somehow did match the fabric I brought in and the shoes, and yet the shoes next to the fabric were much lighter. I just went with it because it was a minor detail in the grand scheme of things...in fact, I'd completely forgotten about it until I sat down to write reviews!... but if you are very picky about your color match, it might be worth taking some time to talk to them instead of just dropping them off and saying "match this."

I bought my bridal jewelry and I also got a purse dyed hot pink here. The store had an ok selection of goods. The purse was dyed and ready to pick up within a couple hours. It was convenient b/c we went shopping in Natick and returned when it was ready.

The customer service in this store is excellent! The store carries the largest selection of bridal shoes that I have found in MA.

I was so happy to find not only my bridal shoes at this store, but I also got all of my bridesmaids shoes as well as my veil here! I got the dyeables shoe and it perfectly matched my dress and I got the exact same wedge as my bridesmaids but we got theirs in gold. Everyone was so happy that the shoes were hip yet dressy and were completely wearable again! They have an amazing collection of veils as well, at a fraction of the price of the big stores on Newbury Street! I was thinking about making my veil and then after I saw these decided it was worth it and that it was so well made and beautiful, the price made sense for these and not $800 like others I saw! The store also has all kinds of other things like sets for champagne glasses, guestbooks, photo books, flower girl basket, etc. They also have a very nice selection of handmade hair pieces and a large selection of jewelry as well. After the wedding I could see that my shoes were semi destroyed at least in the sense that because I had been in a field for my wedding and it was wet, it had kind of destroyed them because they got brown and dirty from being wet and you aren't supposed to get the dyed shoes wet. I think I'm going to bring them back to the store to have them dyed black so I can wear them with other outfits and get more than one nights use out of them! They can dye them very quickly, even while you wait (they do it right there in the store!) I highly recommend Shoes to Dye for a one stop shopping for many of your accessories and attire!

I bought my shoes here, but I did not have them dyed, as they were already a light gold color. The service was good, but not fantastic. Even though I described a particular style that I was looking for, the salesperson seemed to be steering me toward a style that I didn't like. After I started looking for shoes in their special occasion section, as opposed to the bridal section, he turned his attention to another bride and didn't say another word to me until I was ready to check out. They have a huge selection of shoes, and I was able to find a perfect pair in the special occasion section.

Got my shoes dyed here - a beautiful peacock blue. I provided them the swatch and they matched it exactly and had them back to me within a week. Very easy to work with.

What a great place to go for everything you need! My Nana bought me by tiara from here, the selection they have is amazing! My tiara fit my wedding day look perfectly! Everyone here is soo friendly and willing to help with anything! No pushy sales people here! Though I wasn't able to buy my shoes here, it was amazing at how many different types of shoes they have!!

I have never been to a store more willing to help than this one! Not only do they have great customer service, thier large selection of shoes, jewelry, hair pieces, bags, veils and more, make it a one stop shop. I had a big bridal party with several girls from across the the counrty. Shoes to Dye for helped coordinate all thier sizing and shipping needs to work with the rest of my party. They custom mixed the dye to excatly match the color of the dresses, where everything matched perfectly! They accomidated all my desires, from customizing my jewelry color, to my veil length. I defininately recommend this place to all brides. They dont disappoint!

They have soooo many shoes to choose from for you and your girls in your wedding party! my only thing is that some of the shoes are a little pricy and it was a bit of a drive for me. The great thing is that most of the shoes can be dyed for regular everyday use after the wedding, the tough part for me is getting myself down in that area again!
