Shannon Michelle - Couture Boudoir

Shannon (through her colleague, Jaclyn L Photography) was the shooter-for-the-day for our wedding. She was extremely prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. She blended in to the background of the wedding and was unobtrusive, and got us through the formal photography (which I didn't want very much of to begin with) very quickly and efficiently. I didn't have to worry about anything, which was awesome. Because Shannon was so awesome for our wedding and I was interested in having some boudoir photos taken, I booked a session with her. Shannon is absolutely fantastic! I booked a room at the W Hotel for the shoot and it was the perfect setting. Shannon knows exactly the right poses and looks to use, her lighting is lovely, and she is a complete professional. She made everything feel comfortable during the shoot and I had a lot of fun. Shannon is the BEST!! I was so nervous about doing a photoshoot, I went back and forth for months and months. Finally I said to myself I was going to go through with it. She came HIGHLY recommended by quite a few people, so I gave her a call. She is extremely prompt, and we had a date set up in no time. I can't tell you how comfortable I felt in front of her. It honestly felt like we've been friends forever. The shoot itself was so much fun, and I truely encourage all girls to do this once in your life. She makes you feel like you are the most beautiful, confident girl in the world! The pictures came out fantastic! Her composition and use of lighting top of each picture to create a work of art. I cannot recommend Shannon enough, and am beyond pleased that I got the opportunity to work with her.

Shannon was amazing! She is truly worth her weight in gold!! She is such an amazing photographic artist and I'm a professional photographer, myself. I wouldn't have had anyone else but Shannon photograph me. She's such a professional and knows her craft like no one else!! Shannon recommended several boutique hotels for me to chose from. It's sooo important to have a fabulous space to work in. It helps with the mood of the photoshoot.

My experience with Shannon was tremendous! Absolutely wonderful to say the least. She was willing to work with me to find out what was best for my schedule and, most importantly, what I could afford. I had a friend do a boudoir shoot after I did mine, I had given her inspiration, and her experience was a nightmare. Shannon was professional and hard working. I absolutely LOVED working with Shannon. She was so incredible, super attentive to detail, patient and a great director in terms of telling you how to pose and hold your body. She is so much fun and that made it easy to pose for these pictures! I am SO happy with the end result and reccomend that EVERY WOMAN do this for themselves at one point in their life. Shannon's a professional fashion photographer and you will get magazine quality work from her. Her costs aren't too high and we loved working with her: discussing a location to shoot from, her arriving with everything including lighting, her ability to set people at ease while shooting and come up with some great shots, choosing from the proofs, and the final product, which was wonderful.

I hired shannon for my boudoir shoot. It was the first time I had done something like it, and thought I'd give it to my husband. I wanted to give him something fun, sexy, and breath taking. And also wanted to give myself a little gift for my own confidence ;) I saw Shannon's work on her website and knew she was the one to go with. Not to mention she is an absolute sweetheart to work with! I felt so comfortable knowing a woman was photographing me, and understanding the woman's body first hand. i.e what looks best, angles, lighting, stances etc. The level of professionalism was also very relieving to have.
