I LOVED working with STT for our wedding. I am an incredibly discerning diner and of all of our vendors, food was most important to us. STT was fantastic, and the food was delicious, seasonal, and fresh. By far the best wedding food I've ever had - no soggy buffets, sad steamed vegetables, or overcooked fish here! In addition to the food, the service was great. I worked very closely with Anastatia, our event manager, and she was able to help me and work with me through every step of the process. When I wanted pie instead of cake, she had recommendations; when I wanted ice cream she knew who to contact and was happy to pick it up for us. These guys are the best - love them!

We absolutely loved working with Season To Taste! They were very receptive to our requests, and we felt that they were always working hard to make the event exactly what we wanted. When we talk to guests about our wedding, the first thing they mention is how delicious the food was. Definitely get the tomato bar, if at all possible!

From the moment we met with Robert a year before our wedding in May 2009 at Stonehurst in Waltham, MA, we were hooked. His passion for the food he creates was visible even before we tasted it ... and then we tasted it. The locally sourced, farm-fresh meal was out of this world - delicious, simple, elegantly presented. (Even my picky parents were blown away.) During the planning process Robert and his staff were accommodating, helpful, flexible and knowledgeable. They worked with us to make our wedding day as smooth and easy as possible, and to make the logistics of serving 150 guests family-style a reality. Wedding guests (for real) continue to tell us that it was hands-down the best wedding meal they've ever had (i.e. lamb with mint pesto, smoked bluefish cakes, israeli couscous with caramelized onions and more... ).

Season to Taste is amazing! Robert is a joy to work with and Lindsay is an organizational mastermind. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food they serve is wonderful! I have heard continuously from all our guests how amazing the food at our wedding tasted! From the very beginning when I met with Robert to plan our menu, I knew he was the one. Where else could I find a caterer willing to serve braised short ribs to 150 people? From the signature cocktail recipes to the cider and donuts at the end of the night, the entire production was extraordinary!

Robert Harris of Season to Taste Catering provided a dream meal for us and our wedding guests. Everything fresh, everything local (some even from the farm where we held our reception!), and everything absolutely delicious. Two years later, guests from my wedding still remember the details of that meal, and often bring up in conversation how incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked the swordfish was, or how creamy and rich the polenta tasted. Can't say enough to give Robert the praise his food deserves.

I can't say enough about how much we loved Season to Taste. From the amazing tasting dinner they hosted for us in their kitchen at the start of the process to our amazing day of coordinator that was included in the package, every detail was thought of and taken care of. We're still getting rave reviews from our guests on how much they enjoyed the food. If you're planning on a summer wedding, get the heirloom tomato bar. It will knock your socks off.

Season to Taste catered our wedding on 10/10. They did a wonderful job - I couldn't be happier. We had a full thanksgiving dinner, family style, which was hard to do with almost all the other caterers we interviewed. The food was plentiful and tasty, and we were thrilled that they were happy to accommodate a slightly unusual menu, some dietary restrictions, and the whims of our location manager. The passed apps were divine - and you could really taste the difference of organic ingredients. Working with Robert was fun and inspiring. We took to calling him "the food artist" due to his visual descriptions of the plates. The tasting at his house was fun and casual. My only concerns came during the process when his manager was occasionally hard to reach. In truth, nothing urgent was missed - but at times, as a nervous bride, that was a source of frustration. In the end, it went off impeccably - and she was wonderful at keeping the schedule and making excellent decisions on the day-of. I'd recommend Season to Taste to anyone looking for a tasty, reasonably-priced caterer in the area.

Robert Harris and his crew did an absolutely spectacular job catering our wedding in August, 2009. He blew our expectations out of the water. Robert was a dream to work with. His staff was great. The food was impeccable. His whole ethos made a difference that was palpable in each bite -- everything fresh, everything seasonal, everything local, everything cooked that very minute, and for a group of 160 people. Not a steam table in sight. ("Steam tables are where food goes to die," Robert once told me.) Grilled chicken at a wedding that WASN'T dry as sin -- 'nuff said. I know this is the Internets, and you have to take stuff with a grain of salt, but I swear this is true: many, many of our guests told us that it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. And of those, I'd say about half told us it was one of the best meals they had ever had, period. Case in point: the heirloom tomato tasting bar, a Season to Taste original and the biggest hit of the night. A big bushel of heirloom tomatoes with wonderful looks and tastes and smells and names, hand sliced before you by his friendliest staffer, and with your choice of fragrant olive oil, balsamic reduction, basil pesto, and three kinds of salt. (Don't miss the Himalayan smoked salt.) If you're in tomato season when your event happens, do not say no to this under any circumstances. Also, the process of working with Robert was awesome. He poured his heart into that food, held our hands the entire way, and helped to make our wedding the happiest day of our lives, hands-down. We are already scheming about hiring him to cook anniversary meals for us long into the future. Oh, and Robert accommodated a last-minute request for a delivery of food for our rehearsal dinner as well. We were going to have another caterer do it, but Robert was more economical and the food was WAY better than I'm sure it would have been with the other guy.

Robert the owner is a very nice & accommodating person. He is somewhat new to the wedding industry and we knew his food would be great, my only concern was the logistics of feeding 150 people for a plated dinner. The tasting was at his house and was delicious. The passed appetizers were great, dinner was good also – and we made time to eat our meals which was my goal, but I wasn’t even hungry to fully enjoy it. The negatives were that they somehow messed up the bread service & we never were given any bread – which some people later acted like it was a catastrophic error and I was sick of hearing their complaints. Our rented cake knife somehow never made it to the cake table & we had to cut the cake with the server – the knife was found in someone’s chair at the end of the night – still in the plastic. He did credit us for the bread, the bread baskets & the bread plates. Some people complained of slow service – especially the younger people, I think in the end they probably should have had more wait staff. His prices were rather reasonable – we served chicken & lobster, $12.00 for kids meals, and $10.00 for vendor meals, and he was very open & reasonable about all the rental charges.
