RC Uplighting

RC Uplighting was amazing! They were so easy to work with and answered all of my (sometimes stupid) questions. We used them for the uplighting, photography, and photobooth and couldn't be happier with how the party turned out. They really helped transform the space and it was a night to remember because of them.

We loved Ryan and char! they did an amazing job! My husband and i really enjoyed working with them. They were always friendly and made us feel very comfortable! Thank you both for doing such a great job. We were beyond thrilled with the results!

RC Uplighting did an amazing job on our wedding!! We were beyond thrilled with the look of the ballroom. The uplighting perfectly set the tone we wanted it to and the dance floor monogram was flawless. Ryan and Charlene are a true pleasure to work with. They are personable and warm and always made me feel that they were genuinely excited to make my wedding perfect. They came to the hotel hosting our reception for a pre wedding meeting to choose our colors. We went with a dark amber during dinner and a red for dancing. On the evening of the wedding--I never even saw Ryan and Charlene! They were like lighting ninjas...the colors changed at the exact moment we wanted them to but we never saw them do it. Amazing. We got more than our money's worth with RC. Their unique touches made all the difference and I can't wait to see the photos. Thank you Ryan and Charlene!

RC Uplighting was amazing! The overall look and feel the lighting contributed to the ballroom for our reception was incredible. It truly created a unique depth and sophistication to the room. Ryan and Charlene were so easy to work with. They were extremely friendly and responsive. I pretty much knew what I wanted from pictures of their previous weddings so it was a very easy process for me. We also had a confetti bomb which was a complete SHOWSTOPPER! It had to be the best thing I have ever seen! At the last minute I contacted Ryan about colors and timing of the confetti bomb and he was completely accommodating and rolled with the scheduled we had in place and got the customized colors. The confetti bomb was a surprise for my fiancé and to say it was a huge hit is an understatement, it completely knocked everyone's socks off! It made for amazing pictures as well! You definitely can’t go wrong with RC Uplighting. Best value, price and service with out a doubt.

RC up-lighting provided a great service with a great price. I'm very happy with my choice. The confetti bomb they offer is a must for end of the night, it was a total surprise to the guests. We wanted lighting but we didn't want to pay and arm and a leg for it so it was great to find Ryan. Thanks guys for your great job and the great pictures you took as well :)

Ryan did an amazing job at my wedding at the Langham Hotel. He recommended the perfect color to compliment the reception area and the ceremony (amber). Having the ceremony in a plain open ballroom was challenging but Ryan made the space look so intimate I barely recognized it by strategically placing around the room it became so romantic! He did a wonderful job and was there the entire evening. Easy and wonderful to work with, it was the easist thing I had to book.

RC Uplighting was absolutely phenomenal! We could not be happier with the ambiance Ryan and Charlene created for our wedding. They were nothing short of spectacular, meticulously tending to every lighting detail, making adjustments throughout the night as needed, and providing us with an unbelievable value. Ryan and Charlene were 100% professional and extremly responsive throughout our entire planning process. I would recommend RC Uplighting to every couple out there planning a wedding!

The up-lighting that was done at my wedding was just amazing everybody is still talking about it. it made everything that much more special. Ryan and Charlene were so wonderful to work with. We always had a response to our emails within 24 hours of sending it. They were so accommodating and really listened to what our vision was and made it a reality. The uplighting really transformed our ballroom and came out absolutely amazing! We LOVED the monogram projection that Ryan had help us to design. Everything was PERFECT and all of our guests were commenting on the nice "extra touch". Their pricing was extremely competitive compared to other vendors in the area. Thank you Ryan and Charlene for everything! We couldn't have asked for a better day!

We absoultely loved Ryan and Charleen. They were very efficient with emails! Everything about them was awsome, and I feel so lucky to have them as vendors!!! They set the mood for the whole night!!!!!

I found RC Uplighting through the Boston forum on The Knot, and they did an absolutely marvelous job for a very reasonable price. Our reception was in one of the smaller event spaces in the Omni Parker House, and they used light to make the room feel so warm and intimate that people are still raving about their work. We used amber lights for dinner and changed to pink for dancing, and they projected our monogram onto the dance floor. The uplighting and the votives on the tables made the room look like something out of a fairy tale. Now that the wedding is over and I'm desperate for pictures, one of my favorite parts of the service they provide is that they take pictures of the space after everything is set up and immediately post them on Facebook and on their website. (From the timestamp on Facebook, it appears that they posted the pictures from our wedding right after the reception began!) They said such lovely things about our reception and how intimate and beautiful it all was...a large part of that was because of the work they did for us. To top it all off, the price I paid for 14 lights and the monogram projection was about half as much as the quotes I've seen from comparable companies. My only regret was that we didn't also opt for the confetti bomb for the end of the night.

Ryan was very easy to work with, and he was always quick to respond by email. The uplighting at the reception looked amazing! I did not have to worry about a thing the day of the event- I just told them what colors I wanted, and they did the rest. I would recommend their services to anyone- made the room feel and look so much better.

RC Uplighting was AMAZING! We were married June 11th and everything went smoothly. Ryan and Charlene are so easy to work with and I never once worried about their professionalism or the quality of their work. Ryan e-mailed throughout the planning process and they even drove down to Kingston for a 10 minute meeting so we could see what the lights would look like. The lighting was dramatic and I think it made the reception. We received so many positive comments. Also, we were able to do simple white flowers, as the lighting was so dramatic. We had the monogram, confetti bomb and lighting and it was the best decision we made!

RC Uplighting provided uplighting for my wedding reception at the MIT Faculty Club. Before the wedding my mom and I met with Ryan and Charlene to discuss colors and to determine if we wanted a change in color during the evening. They were super friendly and easy to work with, and suggested what they thought would work while taking into account our preferences and vision. We quickly decided on the final colors, plus a color change to blue for dancing. This ended up looking incredible on the wedding day, and really added to the atmosphere and mood in the room. Highly recommended!

Communication was key. They were quick to respond and just so nice! Very easy to work with, and on the day of, I didn’t even know they were there (in a good way!). And the room looked amazing. Good people. Prices are also good compared to others. Would recommend.

Ryan and his wife were great from the very beginning. Ryan was eager to answer any and all questions I had before making a decision on choosing their services. We felt very comfortable with the contract and money transactions before the wedding. The day of the wedding the room looked awesome. Ryan and his wife were there the entire evening to make sure that all lights were working properly and the colors were changed when we had discussed. They were non-intrusive and were not seen in any of the photos we have seen so far. Ryan kept the lighting up until the very end of the night so we did not feel that we were being pushed out of the room. The lights added warmth to the room and were not overpowering in any of the photos. We shopped a few other vendors before making a final decision and found that RC Uplighting's services were much more affordable than other companies. This may have been because the lights are not wireless, however, we did not even see any of the wiring the night of the event. We would recommend RC Uplighting for anyone who wants uplighting for their reception. You can feel confident that Ryan and his wife will be there and get the job done right.
