Girly Junk

Sam and her sister were so fun to work with. They both came to the hotel room and did a fabulous job on the make up. There were several people in the bridal party who usually don't wear make up and didn't want to get it done, but Sam and he sister made them feel comfortable about it and they looked beautiful! I would recommend Sam to other brides.

Girly Junk did a great job with my bridal makeup and all of the bridesmaids makeup. Everyone was happy with their look--which is a miracle. Sam is fun, relaxed, efficient, friendly and of course, very talented. I would recommend the air brushing and the fake lashes--I still looked fresh-faced at the end of the night. I would highly recommend Girly Junk.

Sam did my makeup on June 19, 2010 for my wedding. She did an amazing job and I am so happy I booked her. She is so nice and knows exactly what will look good on you. I had 6 bridesmaids, my mom, MIL and me so she brought someone else too and she was just as amazing! Everyone was extremely happy with their makeup and it lasted all day!

I met with Sam for a trial run about a year before my wedding. I loved my makeup and thought Sam would be so much fun to have around the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, Sam wasn’t able to make it the day of the wedding because she got into a car accident on the way to do my makeup, but she had her colleague, Jillian, already there as a backup. Let me just say, Jillian is a makeup goddess! My makeup was A M A Z I N G!! I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life...Needless to say, Sam really handled everything beautifully. She was literally on the phone with me as she’s exchanging papers and dealing with police officers. I just think it says a lot about a vendor’s professionalism on how they handle these types of situations, especially when it was totally out of their control and not their fault. I would absolutely hire Sam again in the future and I highly recommend her to everyone!

Sam and Robin are awesome. They made getting ready for my wedding so much fun! I have recommended them to a lot of people. They were even able to calm down my mother and mother-in-law and made my entire bridal party look amazing. I don't usually wear make-up, they made me look natural and a little extra special for my big day.

Sam was amazing to work with on my wedding day! She did an awesome job with everyone's make-up and made sure that the entire wedding party was happy and felt their best. She was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire planning process, as well as very accommodating with scheduling trials, etc. Her happy energy and friendliness made getting ready relaxing and fun! I would highly recommend her to everyone.

Robin was the best! She is very easy going and an absolute expert at making everyone look their best. A couple of the girls who did not plan on getting their make-up professionally done changed their minds after they saw Robin's work on the others. I would recommend her to any bride.

Oh, how I love Sam & Robin. Love, love, love them. Not only did they make me and my girls feel beautiful, but we had SO MUCH FUN getting ready. They really know their stuff, use high quality products, listen to what you’re looking for, and are incredibly skilled. AND my make-up lasted all night; a miracle, consiering my above comment about our reception – also? I sweat a lot. Gross but true, and still my make-up stayed on! They are a great value and I wish I had another fancy event just so I could hire them again!

Sam came to the hotel and did my makeup, 6 of my bridesmaids and my mom. She did an amazing job and I have never looked so gorgeous! It was so relaxing to have her there telling stories and making everyone who got makeup feel 100% comfortable. She was fantastic and if you're at all on the fence about getting your makeup done the day of, do it because it's definitely worth it.
