Could not have asked for a better DJ. Brett Heeney did everything we could have hoped for and more. We had seen him dj at another wedding and were so impressed by his work. He made sure to work with us to plan a night that all of our guests would enjoy. Brett did a great job of keeping the party going; the dance floor never emptied. He is the best dj from any wedding I have ever been to. Brett worked with us during the event to make sure everything was going smoothly. Also was the first DJ I've heard in a long time that didn't mess up on a single announcement or introduction which we greatly appreciated. Brett did an amazing job and anyone would be lucky to have him as the DJ for their wedding.

We knew finding the right DJ for our wedding was going to be one of the most important decisions we made during the wedding planning process. My husband and I both love to dance, so a good DJ was very crucial. A friend recommended Crackerjack Entertainment and made me promise to contact Brett because she knew he would live up to all our expectations. And she was right! Brett was professional and organized, he was always quick to respond to my emails, he was honest and made great recommendations, and he made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Brett did the music for our entire wedding - from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception. He played a crucial role in our wedding day and made sure everything ran smoothly. And most importantly, he kept our guests (of all ages) on the dance floor all night. We had so much fun dancing with our family and friends. Brett is worth all five stars. I'd recommended him in a heart beat!

Brett did an absolutely fantastic job the day of our wedding. He was great to work with- very professional, organized, and efficient. I do not have a single complaint with his services. We worked with him to customize our wedding playlist and designated songs for the different points in the evening. He worked well with our vendor coordinators and I would absolutely recommend him 110%

We knew when we met Brett, he was the DJ for us. He impressed us with his professionalism and we knew immediately, he could provide the music we wanted at our celebration. And he surpassed everything we expected. We told him when we first met that we wanted our wedding celebration to be a party and he helped make that happen. Brett kept the dance floor at full swing from the minute dinner ended to the very last dance. We asked that he keep the slow dances to a minimum which he did but provided just enough to give the older guests opportunities to dance too. Our guests loved him and we did too.

We met with 3 DJ's before Brett, and am so happy we kept pushing to meet more. The others just weren't feeling right. From the instant we met Brett things just felt right. He didn't need to sell to us. His authentic and accommodating personality won us over. And, it was Brett's accommodating personality that shined as we discussed our vision of a non-tradition music line-up for our wedding, which involved an alternative cocktail hour, a high energy/frequently rotating dance section, a wind-down hour at the end of the evening and virtually no DJ announcements. He expressed excitement over the opportunity, where the other DJ's we met expressed hesitation and even encouraged adopting a more cookie cutter approach to music. When it came to the planning and execution, Brett was top notch too. Brett doesn't miss a beat when it comes preparation for the big day - with a very thorough questionnaire process, personal meetings and an amazing online playlist system, we knew we were in good hands. And honestly, as I discussed the online system to friends that were also in the process of getting married and using other DJ's, they were blown away. Day of, Brett did not disappoint. Even with some electrical issues, his performance was on point and he got our dance floor pumping - even on one of the most humid days of the year! Friends and family loved him too, which to me is always the best validation. Hands down, you if you're looking for a DJ that is professional, organized, upbeat, pleasant and who will cater to your needs - Brett is your guy!

We could not have had a better experience working with Brett. From the beginning stages, he was unbelievably organized and on top of all the details of our wedding. The wedding survey you fill out is comprehensive and covers even details you didn't think of. Having the schedule he provided as part of our day made it flow smoothly with not one hitch. Brett easily worked with our other vendors and was incredibly flexible when working with their schedules as well. His MC skills were fantastic and professional, he got everyone's attention easily and was clear and comical. He always knew where people were when doing toasts and made sure the critical people were in the room to witness whenever any event was taking place. We received an insane amount of compliments on the music selection, and we really didn't have a whole lot of direction to go on. The dance floor was packed the entire night and there was something for everyone to dance to and nothing that cleared the floor. Brett made our day the huge success it was, I couldn't recommend him more!

Crackerjack Entertainment did our daughter's Kate wedding on 9/10/11 at the Exchange Center on the waterfront in Boston. Our daughter Kate and and her husband Josh just got home from their honeymoon and I asked for your contact information. My wife Joanne and I want to thank you personally for doing such a professional job at Kate and Josh's wedding. Everything was terrific, you were incredibly well organized throughout the entire process and managed your end of the affair extremely well. The music selection which had something for everybody absolutely hit the mark and the corner lighting really added to the ambiance. Finally, the volume was perfect the entire night! I don’t think things could have gone any better really. We’ve been to weddings in the past where the music is geared to a very young crowd. Everyone at Kate and Josh's wedding had a great time. More people commented on how much they liked the music selection and well organized it all was. After meeting with several DJ’s and not being impressed with a single one of them, it was a breath of fresh air when we met Brett. You could tell from the very beginning that he was extremely organized, professional, and loved what he did for a living. One thing that we were really nervous about was hiring a DJ who wouldn’t listen to our wishes at all. It seemed as though everyone we met with we got a vibe that our wedding would be full of cheesy music and a DJ who talked too much. I didn’t once get that feeling with Brett. He truly listened to what we wanted and agreed with everything we said and asked for. He made us feel extremely comfortable from the moment we met him all the way to the end of our reception. Brett is truly one of the most organized people I have ever met, and it really shows through his work. We loved that he had a book for each wedding that had every single detail of the night. It really made me feel comfortable that Brett was on top of his game and he really cared about each client. We also loved the online music database that Brett has. It was a blast going through music and making our “must play” “would like to play” and “do not play” lists. And, he listens to what you want and every song that was on our “must play” was played at our wedding, and he didn’t play one song on our “do not play” list, or anything along the lines of it. The real reason we absolutely loved Brett was that our dance floor was literally packed from the moment he opened up the dance floor to the very last song. When I say packed, I mean you could barely move! He did an amazing job of playing different genres for our guests and keeping people up and dancing all night. It was an awesome sight for my husband and me to see so many people have a blast at our wedding. Brett hands down made our wedding reception and we would hire him again in a heart beat!

I used crackerjack entertainment after attending my cousins wedding where they dj'd and they did not disappoint. From the very beginning we had complete control of the music, with the ability to pick every song we wanted played and did not want played. Brett allowed us to customize our intros for the wedding party and even some songs that we wanted to cut or mix into other songs. He was right on point with all the announcements we wanted and timing of each event of the night. He was so good at reading the crowd and knowing which song to play next. Very professional and super flexible. Everything was done in such a organized manner that it was one part of the planning process that seemed stress free. I would highly recommend this company to brides out there!

as the MOTHER OF THE BRIDE, there is so much planning involved in hosting a wedding! it is necessary to chose vendors with whom you feel comfortable and confident, and i can assure you we experienced both with brett from crackerjack entertainment. i was impressed with his attention to detail, level of experience, and overall demeanor. during the first meeting, he was organized , had excellent communication skills, and made the prospective bride and groom ( AND MOTHER OF THE BRIDE) feel as though they were in "good hands"! throughout the wedding planning process they received ongoing communication and guidance leading up to the wedding day. he kept the bride and groom "on track" and i observed that they felt comfortable with brett and had fun with all the planning involved and selecting their playlists, etc. he is flexible and will accomodate your personalized requests! YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY if you chose this dj---he is extremely CONSCIENTOUS and his PERSONALISM and PROFESSIONALISM will be refelected at your wedding. i can assure you that the dance floor was always packed and we had a blast!!!!!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with the DJ from Crackerjack Entertainment for our wedding! Brett was extremely professional, thorough, conscientious, and easy to work with. From the day we booked with him, we received access to our "my event" page on the Crackerjack website where we could select songs that we wanted played. This made my husband VERY happy since he was so involved with the music for our wedding. Brett responded promptly to every email that was sent and made sure to answer any questions we may have had. Even though Brett had never played at our venue before, he made an effort to contact them ahead of time to make sure that everything would run smoothly that night. I also loved the wedding questionnaire that we filled out prior to the event -- it included EVERY detail that you would possibly need to cover and allowed us to personalize our special day to make it exactly how we wanted it to be. Our guests had a blast and all raved about how great the music was! The dance floor was never empty once the dance music started and we didn't want the night to end. As many of you "brides to be" know, planning your wedding can be extremely stressful and overwhelming. However, if you have hired vendors that you feel confident about, it makes the process so much more enjoyable! I assure you Crackerjack Entertainment will provide you with that confidence and you will not need to worry about a thing! It will be fabulous!

Brett Heeney was very professional and organized. He was amazing through the planning process, as well as during the entire wedding night. He quickly responded to emails and any questions we had, he was sending friendly reminders and he was always on top of things. The questionnaire he has for each couple prior to the wedding was very helpful and allowed us to easily express what we really want for our wedding. Another great service which Crackerjack provides is “My even” section on their website. There, you can go and search for millions of songs and get great ideas on what music you want to hear during the wedding. All of our guests had a blast at our wedding and everyone was up and dancing the whole night while Brett was playing most of the songs which we provided in the request list. Our guests still share with us how much fun they had and how this was the best wedding they have been to :) I highly recommend Brett as a DJ for your wedding or any other event!!! He is AMAZING!!! Brett is the absolute best! He was the dj at my (now) husband's brothers wedding and he did an amazing job! So he was the obvious (and only) choice when we started to plan our wedding. We can not say enough about Brett's professionalism, organization and attention to detail. He was extremely easy to work with through the entire planning stage, answering all emails and phone calls in a timely manner. His music database is extensive and anything that he may have been missing he provided for us. He also offered great suggestions on the flow of the reception. On our wedding day, Brett worked hard to make us and our parents happy. He was the perfect emcee and the music was great!! The dance floor was packed all night and we got numerous compliments on the music from people of all ages. What a memorable day it was - thanks in large part to Brett! As the mother of the bride, I was impressed the minute I met Brett. He was professional, extremely knowledgable about what he does, and very interested in my daughter and her fiance's musical suggestions. He was so organized that I knew then and there that he would take charge at the reception and see to it that things ran smoothly--and I was right because they did.

Brett was fantastic! After talking and meeting with him, I didn't worry about the music or how the flow of the night would go at all. He moved everything along at a great pace, talked to my husband and I throughout the night to let us know what would come next. He was very open and flexibile with our music choices, even right up until the last minute. I wish all my vendors had been like Brett!!

Brett made my wedding great! My guests never left the dance floor. He is very organized, does all his homework so that he is able to provide the best entertainment during the wedding without much direction from the bride or groom. He works well with other vendors. I am still getting rave reviews about my wedding 2 months later! I thank Brett for that! He has an extensive music library, knows what and when to play to keep the feet moving. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Brett, would love to repeat my wedding reception because too much fun was had by all! to sum it up: He is phenomenal!!!

Brett was by far the best wedding DJ I have ever encountered! My husband and I "borrowed" him from a friend and my cousin liked him so much that she hired him as well! Our wedding was a huge dance party, with people anxiously awaiting to be invited up to the dance floor and keeping it going until that dreaded last song! Everything went so smoothly and there wasn't a detail that Brett missed. He even went so far as to come check with me when someone requested a song that may have been questionable!
