The Winiker Band is OUTSTANDING!!! Bill and Bo Winiker were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely accommodating and professional. They made us feel as though we were truly special and spent a lot of quality time with us before the wedding (e.g., getting to know us as a couple, our taste in music, planning the order of events, discussing music for Jewish ceremonies, etc.). The band worked well with our chosen venue and our wedding night went smoothly thanks to the Winikers. The dance floor was always packed with guests ranging in age from 21-90. The band touched upon every genre of music such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Motown, Neil Diamond, Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas as well as big band swing music and standards such as songs sung by Frank Sinatra and Horas. Bo was receptive to all spontaneous music requests throughout the evening (e.g., Build Me Up Buttercup). The Winiker orchestra played our wedding song, "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain, flawlessly. After the wedding, our guests were raving about our band. For example, my good friend told me that she had never witnessed her husband dance at a wedding before and he was on the dance floor the entire evening. Members of then Winiker Band are actually family relatives. We had no idea if we'd be able to book them, but boy, are we glad we could. They were incredible. The music selection - swing and classic rock - was amazing and had everyone dancing the ENTIRE night. I've been to weddings before where there is some dancing after dessert. Bo Winiker, the band leader, made sure people were up the entire time. Our hora was nearly 30 minutes long - and people are still talking about it. Bo made sure to cater to our every need and wish, and it was absolutely perfect. We felt catered to, respected and pampered. The night was unforgettable.

Hi Bo! Tim & I just returned from our honeymoon in France & Italy. It was amazing. ALMOST as a amazing as our big day. We couldn't wait to reach out to you upon our return. We cannot thank you enough for the incredible music you provided! You and your band are undoubtedly the best around. You truly amazed us. We were particularly wowed by the choice of songs you played. It was a perfect balance of different music from different eras. Our friends & family cannot stop raving about the music. We first heard the Winniker band at Skipjack's in Boston. When we told them that we were looking for a band for my daughter's wedding they began to play wedding music in the restaurant. That really put us in a good mood and made us so excited we decided that we had to have them! Bill made the whole process so much fun and he is so personal and professional. He made a point to get to know our family and really listened to what we wanted. The wedding day was perfect and our guests were quite impressed with the repertoire. We all danced with "reckless abandon". If you want a wedding that is really "hopping" you must hire the Winniker band!

The height of talent and professionalism. Bo Winiker and his band exceeded my very high expectations. My husband and I are music enthusiasts and very picky. Moreover, we had all age ranges at our wedding and I wasn't sure how they would pull off making the event really move. Their repertoire is endless. This band is simply top rate, beginning to end. They recorded our first dance to the requested tempo and sent it to as a sound attachment so we could practice our dance in advance. They mastered it for the first dance and then completely had everyone -- old and young on the dance floor ROCKING OUT! We had a ball. They listen to exactly what you want and then they deliver it with grace, style and gusto. There is no smaltz; they are completely plugged in to who you are and what you want your wedding to be. Hire this band for the night of your life.

The Winiker band were outstanding and made our wedding a fun filled fantastic party. The words "best wedding ever" are frequently heard among our guests. Three weeks after the event and I'm still humming tunes that they played while I type this! I can't express just how accommodating Bo and team were both before and during the event. They listened to our requests and the special meaning behind each song which in turn they shared with our friends and family during the reception. They took the time to learn a new song just for us. During the wedding, they got the crowd on their feet quickly setting the right tone for the evening. What a sight to see guests of all ages (7 to 75+) up and dancing the night away. What really struck me was how readily Bo will share the stage with family and friends - allowing them to show off their talents and share their wishes. I believe, given the chance, my nieces and nephews would tour as back up singers and dancers with the band! The night was magical and I contribute a huge part of that magic to the Winiker Band!

The Winikers absolutely made my wedding! When I was planning my wedding I never considered how big a role your band plays in the success of the reception. I just knew that I wanted excellent musicians because my parents are both in the industry and I wanted to find musicians that I thought I would enjoy working with. Bo and Bill are the nicest guys I could ever ask for. Bo lights up any room he walks into. Bill was so helpful with picking songs and working out the flow of the night. They were receptive to our ideas and had a lot of great ideas for us from a lifetime of these kind of events. Now that I have experienced the wedding I realize how much the Winikers improved the feel of my reception. The music, of course, was just exceptional. They were able to take any request that we threw at them and were even willing to learn new ones that we requested ahead of time! I had the piano player from the band play at the ceremony and we wanted to use Alegria from Cirque du Soleil for my processional. He learned the piece and it was just beautiful! For the reception I can't tell you how many people raved about the Winikers! People loved how personable they were and the variety of music that they played. Many people mentioned how impressed they were at the quality of singing and playing. My sister's mother in law was extremely impressed a their volume levels as she could still speak the next morning. The Winikers have found a great balance of background music during dinner and great dance music when we wanted to hit the dance floor. They kept the night flowing smoothly and made sure that people never got bored or too stuck to their seat! We did our wedding on something of a shoestring for Boston. Because of that I really had to prioratize in my budget. I ended up spending about a quarter of it on the Winikers and I would do it again in a heart beat!

We can't emphasize enough how much the Winikers truly made our wedding. We had seen them at another wedding and loved them, so they were the first vendor we booked once we picked a date. From the beginning, Bill was a pleasure to work with and really understood what we wanted: a band that could read the crowd and choose the best song for any given moment, while still making sure to play the songs that were most special to us. We wanted to walk down the aisle to the Nutcracker, and they learned a very tough piece of music especially for us, in addition to our first dance number and several other songs. They also kept the crowd dancing the entire night - even some of our friends who are not big dancers told us how much fun they had. It was exactly what we wanted, and months later, what we remember most about that day is not the food or the flowers (though both were great), but the fantastic time we had on the dance floor.

Jack and I were thrilled with the music at our wedding on April 10th. We have had so many of our guests and family call or email us about the great time they had dancing and just listening to the music. You really knew how to satisfy everyone; we were especially touched by the aria and the "flugal horn". Our first dance was just perfect and a nice idea to have everyone join us on the floor after the first stanza. Our guests that were celebrating their 45th anniversary were honored to have a special dance just for them. As I have long known and loved the Winikers, there was NO QUESTION as to who would set my marriage to music. In fact, as my parents had their phones off when I proposed, Bill and Bo may have known before they did! To have them at my wedding was just THAT IMPORTANT.Before the big day, my wife and I met with the boys to discuss our tastes and hopes and dreams. It was part therapy, part planning, and all comfortable talk with friends. Their ideas (some of which should be copyrighted they are so amazing and unique) melded seamlessly with ours and even improved on many of them! As I had a special surprise for my wife, the band even invited me to jam with them at their weekly gig at Skipjacks (a DEFINITE "must do" for ANY music lovers!).Bill arrived a day early to check out the scene and the band worked well with the caterer and everyone else, taking requests and pacing the night perfectly. When it came time for their agreed-upon schedule to end, Bill saw that the floor was still PACKED so he agreed on the spot to linger for almost another full hour! Even after that, people wanted more!I can not say enough good about this band and the brothers who lead it. They truly make every day with them a good day to be alive!

The Winiker band was great! We met with the band and came up with a schedule that happily interspersed swing dancing throughout the whole evening, and the guests thought it was fantastic - several of them coming and telling us afterwards that we should stop our current jobs and switch to wedding planning. Bill and Bo were able to play some custom songs for us (we got the sheet music, but they adjusted it a bit too), and they really matched our ideas for the type of music we were looking for. The most amazing thing they did, however, was come up with some fun children's music at the end of the dinner - the children at the wedding were done eating and starting to get rambunctious, but they saw that and played a song for them to have fun on the dance floor while the adults finished talking and eating, before we moved on to the next part of the reception. It really showed just how in tune they were with everything that was going on, and able to fit in where they could.Plus, now we have some great friends to see whenever we want to eat at Skipjack's or Upstairs on the Square.

Bo and Bill Winiker tailored the music for our crowd to a tee, and our guests had such a great time on the dance floor. Their Motown medley was so memorable and had everyone sweating when it was over!

My wedding would not have been nearly as amazing without the talented Winiker Band, led by Bo Winiker. The band truly stole the show (I heard this from many guests as well). The enthusiasm put forth by the band was contagious and the outcome resulted in a very crowded dance floor and a whole lot of fun! They will emcee the event from beginning to end with such class, vigor, and excitement- your guests will be mesmorized and leave the wedding wanting more. We had the band learn 4 "special songs" for our event and they did an excellent job- two of the songs did not have sheet music available so they transcribed the music by ear. What talent. The Michael Jackson Medley was a nice timely tribute as well and made for some hilarious dance moves and fun photo opportunities. I highly endorse this band and for all future brides- you will not regret hiring the Winiker Band- they are worth their weight in gold. Your wedding will be the talk of the town- as it was mine.

Bo and his talented band were truly wonderful. They are incredible musicians and have an enormous repertoire. Seriously, these guys can play anything! Everyone was up and dancing all night.

Because I had a relatively small wedding, I used a smaller version of the Band, including Bill Winiker plus five other musicians. They learned a new song for our first dance and also came up with wonderful suggestions for the rest of our playlist. They are a class act -- class is what we were going for with our black tie affair, and this band really set the stage for exactly that. the music was amazing!! and the band is made up of wonderful people!

The Winiker brothers put together a great band. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and for the most part the volume accurately matched the evening (not too loud during dinner, etc) They are a very classy organization - more than most wedding bands in my opinion. That said, I wish I had reviewed their set list, since they threw in some songs that we were not thrilled with. We had asked for "The Best is Yet to Come" for our last dance, but after that they played two encores...including Donna Summer's "Last Dance," which was not at all what we wanted for our old-fashioned, big band-style wedding reception. Ah well. That's my only complaint. They really did do a great job and had very talented musicians.
