I enjoyed working with Michael and his wife Emily. My fiance loved Mike from the moment he met him. Michael included a lot of things in his price that other places did not. Mike seemed very enthusiastic about creating our cake and it showed he loves what he does. My cake was gorgeous and tasted even better than it looked. I only have 2 complaints. The first is that I was supposed to ave dollop of modeling chocolate around my cake (to put sparklers in) Mike never delivered those so I had to put them right on the cake. The second complaint bothered me a little more. It was my friends 30th birthday the night of my wedding so I asked Mike to make me a birthday cupcake. Emily told me it would be vanilla with white frosting and would cost me $2.50. No big deal, except they never delivered the cupcake. The thing that bothered me the most about it not being delivered was that when I told Emily they did not deliver it, her response was that they had a lot of weddings that day and when we order our anniversary cake they will make us cupcakes. I was not fond of that response! Other than that the cake was great!!!!

Michael at Andover cakes is a complete genius he gave me exactly what I had envisioned and it tasted delicious even better than I remember at the tasting.

I am so appreciative to Michael and Emily for creating a breathtakingly gorgeous wedding cake! It was even better than I had imagined and everyone raved about how good the Strawberry Diplomat cake tasted. My brother who doesn't usually comment about things like this couldn't get over the fact that the cake sparkled! My new husband and I are already looking forward to our anniversary cake and to any special events that we can order a cake from Andover Cakes in the future. Michael and Emily were a pleasure to work with and were very flexible...even when I changed some of the details a few days before the wedding!

Very good cakes! We met with Michael for our cake testing and had such a hard time deciding since they all tasted so good! We ended up going with red velvet and a chocolate with raspberry ganash I believe. He took my idea and put his own artistic touch to it and months down the road I decided to change my cake design and he was completely fine with it and I LOVED my cake. We also ordered a rehearsal dinner cake from them- the tiramisu and that was also good! One thing that really sold us was the fresh 1 year anniversary cake. We liked to rub it in our friends faces that we don't need to freeze ours! Thank you!

Michael and Emily, we could not have been more thrilled with the way this cake turned out! Mark and I knew right from the start that Andover Cakes was the place to go. This was the one area we visited SEVERAL vendors - I saw 8 different bakeries - and I had all kinds of experiences. Andover Cakes was the first place we visited, and Mike was great in explaining our different choices, and the presentation of all the samples were the best out of anyone else we saw. We ended up with the marble and it was DELICIOUS!! Emily was always very responsive to my emails, and offered to throw some glitter onto the cake - and it shined in the pictures! It was the smoothest process, and was one of the cheapest deals around which played into our decision. If you go with Andover Cakes, you definitely won't be disappointed!

The wedding cake was AWESOME!! It perfectly represented our rustic fall theme. Guests were enjoying the sugared fruits before and after the cake was served. The chocolate chocolate chocolate layers disappeared in an instant and the layer with the fresh strawberry filling was not far behind. Many guests commented on how delicious it was. My experience is that most wedding cakes look pretty, but are otherwise not particularly memorable. This one definitely will not be forgotten. Thank you so much for your part in making this day so very special for our birde and groom. We have already recommended you to several people.

Andover cakes is absolutely amazing! My wedding cake was gorgeous and completely delicious! Emily and Michael worked with me so much and I changed things around 2 or 3 times and they were so accommodating! The best out of all the vendors I visited!

My partner and I wanted a cake out of a bridal cake magazine. We contacted Andover Cakes, sat with Michael and showed him the picture at our cake tasting. He said not a problem..One the day or our wedding as we where being announced into the function hall I spotted the cake. There it said as pretty as the magazine. The best part, after we exchanged bites and were to return for our dinner. I couldn't put the cake down. It was exquisite! We are both cake people so it was important to have a nice looking cake as well as a good tasting one. The strawberry diplomat was divine! Andover cakes we can't thank you enough. Best part of Andover cakes baking our wedding cake. We get a small fresh cake on our anniversary! Thank you Michael and Emily!

Michael created my dream wedding cake. I didn't want a traditional white cake and he was excited to draw out my vision of a chocolate cake. He is very nice and easy to talk to. He made several good suggestions on the design and it came out perfect! My jaw dropped when I saw it during my first dance. My guests were also amazed. I heard things like "wow, what a cake” and "Is that even real?" Emily was very responsive on email. They are a great team! I highly recommend Andover Cakes. I can't wait for my anniversary cake, the marble sensation was delicious!!

Our experience with Andover Cakes was short, sweet (of course), and to the point. We met with Michael to pick out our cake flavors, share a few ideas and colors that we liked, and that is all that it took! We arrived to our reception to see the finished product...ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Michael is clearly above and beyond professional status. He heard what we wanted and made our cake into a beautiful creation, that was also delicious! Whenever I had a question or concern, the folks at Andover Cakes were easily reached through email! Michael and Emily Grant created the most beautiful cake for my daughter's wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and the attention to detail was amazing as well as their coordination with the florist for the top of the cake. Strawberry Diplomat and Chocolate Ganache were the two flavors chosen (2 tiers of each) and our guests all wanted to sample both! Many exclaimed that this cake was the best they had ever had! Cake was beautiful, but fondant was not used & the heat caused some melting on the flowers.

Working with Andover Cakes, and Michael and Emily was the best experience we could have asked for. They were everything a bride and groom would want when searching for a vendor. They were very professional and understood the importance of our wedding day. They also worked with the venue and the florist to determine the proper arrival set up time. We also worked with Andover Cakes for our rehearsal. When we ordered the rehearsal dinner cake, our guests were beyond impressed (as we were) with the cake! People were raving about how moist and delicious the marble cake was, not to mention its decor of fresh strawberries. When we informed them that you were doing the wedding cupcakes, the event couldn't come fast enough! The cupcakes were the hit of our wedding night. Many people had never experienced the cupcake wedding cake and were amazed by the quality of the cupcakes as well as the beautiful simplicity of the edible dust on top. We did have some left over, and tried to eat as many as we could before we had to leave for our honeymoon! Mike and Emily did a fantastic job on my wedding cake. He knew exactly what I wanted and sketched a picture of it while we were sitting at the table. He suggested details that he felt would make the cake look more amazing. The cake tasted fabulous. Everyone was raving about how amazing the cake tasted. I cant wait to receive another cake on our one-year anniversary. The cost of the cake for what I wanted was definitely worth it and comparable to others.
